Terms of Service
Last updated: June 18, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the LoopStream apps and website (“LoopStream,” “we,” “us”). By downloading or using LoopStream, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.
What LoopStream is
LoopStream lets you share files between your own devices over your local Wi-Fi network, or through an encrypted relay for remote access. Local sharing is free. Remote access and certain advanced features are part of LoopStream Pro, a paid subscription.
Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the files and content you choose to share.
- You agree to use LoopStream only for lawful purposes and only with content you have the right to share.
- You agree not to use LoopStream to distribute malware, infringe others’ rights, or violate any applicable law.
- You are responsible for keeping your devices, pairing codes, and share links secure.
Subscriptions (LoopStream Pro)
- LoopStream Pro is an auto-renewing subscription sold through the Apple App Store, offered on monthly and yearly plans.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
- Your subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your Apple ID account settings. Apple’s terms govern billing and refunds.
- Local LAN sharing remains free and does not require a subscription.
Acceptable use
You may not attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or abuse the relay service, overload our infrastructure, or use LoopStream to harm others. We may suspend access that we reasonably believe violates these Terms.
Your content
Your files are yours. LoopStream does not claim ownership of any content you share, and we do not store or access your files. You grant no rights to us in your content beyond what is technically necessary to transfer it between your devices.
Disclaimer of warranties
LoopStream is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data transfers will always succeed.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LoopStream and its developers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the app. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of important files.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of LoopStream after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest version.
